This commissioned portrait is displayed on a marble plinth in the boardroom of the Autostrada Dei Fiori’s headquarters in Imperia, Italy.


The Engineer Mario Bruni was responsible for the planning and construction of the first part of the motorway connecting France to Italy, Ventimiglia to Genova, along the Mediterranean coast via many tunnels and viaducts. It was finished the late 1970s.
